Super tough, with amazing features - I'M IN LOVE!
I was a little hesitant when I first saw the price, but this product is SO WORTH IT!! I was super excited when I found out that the tripod is stored in the handle. I love that you can have the extendable arm attached to the handle and ready to go, without it getting in the way; and I also love that everything is thumbscrews rather than flat clips - it makes everything much more secure and makes me feel safer using it for more rough-and-tumble activities. The fact that's it's all waterproof is a huge bonus. I will definitely be using this to take my GoPro on adventures for years to come!

Brilliant Product - Slightly Overpriced
I love the saying 'you get what you pay for', and this rings true for this product. Yes, it is over priced for a 'selfie stick', but it does way more than the cheap versions for your phone. It has a really strong build, as with all Go Pro products, and survived many hard falls whilst snowboarding and surfing. I doubt cheaper models will be able to do this. I love the locking mechanism when the arm is closed/shortened. As it keeps the arm out of the way so you can hold the handle, but if you fall, it wont lock shut on your fingers. (This isn't shown in the photos) - You don't need to fully dism

Its OK
This tripod isnt that great. Its quite hard to work out how to put it back together once you take it apart. The little tripod legs rarely keeps the "arm" with camera upright. I think it was quite pricey for what you get. Other reviewers have reported the same: The 2 legs built into the Gopro doesn't fasten very tight to a mount. When you move around alot the camera does move out of position.

Versatile but delicate stick
I like the versatility and compact design of this stick. I don't do much in the way of selfies, but I do use it for low perspective pans, overhead shots and the integrated tripod comes in very handy. It's comfortable to hold and the folding design allows for unique positions, though I don't really understand why there is a release button on the handle. It also should come with some sort of tether, or at the least a better attachment point for one. On the down side, it is very expensive and I think other cheaper sticks would probably serve just as well. Within a few uses, one of the ears broke

The build quality and everything is nice and it stows away to quite a compact size, but if you are going to use it as a tripod it is quite unstable with the camera attached. It is really top heavy and you need to really think about the balance when you set the angle. Still quite useable though and probably better for handheld stuff.

Hinge broke
I got this stand long time ago, one of the hinges broke from on side. It's a design flaw because when the screw is loose, the arm doesn't move freely and the force you apply on it to move will brake it. That's what happened to mine. Also if dirt goes in between the hinges then good luck trying to clean it, the arm will get stuck and doesn't move.

Tried it and probably wont use it
The best I can tell, it replaces a selfie stick and small tripod in one unit. Sounds like a great idea. Heres the issues: -As a selfie stick: its very nice but there are much cheaper ones out there. -As a tabletop tripod: its worthless to me, because you can only adjust one angle (pitch up and down) at the GoPro attachment point. If the camera is not level (say in the woods or anywhere with no floor), there is no adjustment for that. You would have to add a ball and socket to get this to work that way.

Genuine GoPro 3-way Grip/Arm/Tripod Mount
Genuine GoPro 3-way Grip/Arm/Tripod Mount is a versatile mount giving you a handheld mount with articulating arms for multiple angle positions to record in. A built-in tripod mount hidden in the handle of the mount and a ergonomic handle grip. New condition.

Cheap, Shaky, Slips, Top-Heavy w/ camera attached
I tried this out with the tiny Hero 4 Session. The tiny camera made it too top heavy and the tripod actually fell over with my brand new camera on it. The legs are super cheap, not wide enough, slip around and are not strong enough to sustain a camera, not even with my tiny little Hero 4 Session. I'm really shocked at the price but more shocked at the poor design by GoPro. I am returning mine and went with the JOBY GorillaPod Action Tripod with Mount for GoPro, Black/Red: which even has a built in Level. Very pleased with the Joby and it was almost half the p

Not Intuitive But Great Nonetheless
There are no instructions in the packaging. There is a diagram that shows all of the possible positions for the mount, but no clear way to get what I was looking for -placing my GoPro right on the tripod with nothing else in between. I pulled on stuff. I added other sections from other gear, but it seemed as if something was missing. I had to get my son to figure it out for me. I prefer to be able to figure things out myself or to have something to refer to when I need help. All other positions are self explanatory; not even a need to see the diagram. The connection between the camera and the

The Central Piece of the Puzzle
The Go Pro 3-way makes you feel pretty invincible, it feels solid and inspires you to get different shots. It could be considered good value as its really three different products in one, however the Go Pro label still makes this a premium product which I feel it doesn't quiet live up to the name. the included thumb screws can be difficult to adjust in strenuous conditions (i normally end up using my teeth) and it can be confusing to figure out which way it goes back together after you use it in its hand grip configuration, without much instruction included this made the first several uses dif

Good selfie stick
Really practical and sturdy. The problem is I guess some airports won't let you carry it in the hand luggage, as it could probably be used as a weapon. However, it works fine as a selfie stick. Specially for an action camera that can have a really broad capture area. I really like that it comes with a small "tripod" mount. The problem is that it is super small, which makes it a bit hard to make it stand up in place. If I am in a grassy area, I tend to stick into the ground so it gets a bit safer.

Highly versitle mounting solution from GoPro
From a selfie stick to a stationary tripod, the GoPro 3 way is a versatile solution for positioning your GoPro. You can use it in a number of ways to make your shots more interesting. GoPro clearly put some thought into the design of this device to make it more than just a simple extension poll. It is compact, lightweight and easy to adjust; a must-have accessory. What I don't like? - Though a clever design the price is a bit on the high side considering it's mostly plastic. Also, the tripod configuration is not very sturdy, especially if you have it extended. Best action selfie stick in my opinion
I have purchased other brands of selfie sticks in the past. I personally like this one because you can position the GoPro so you dont see the stick in the photo or video. It is also versatile using a short arm, long arm, low tripod, or long tripod. The material feels very durable and the stick is waterproof. Good quality for the price I paid.

Flimsy plastic tripod legs. When I tried to open them there was a horrible plastic squeaking sound that gave me the impression that it could crack at any moment. For $109 and GoPro branding, I would have expected better quality.

Oliver's review of Gopro GP2036 3-Way Mount
Pros: Very easy to use, good build, very nice finish and good quality thumb screws. Lots of different functions and an excellent tripod. When it folds it is very compact. It is very sturdy, and good at using as a selfie stick. The tri pod is excellent, and can bruised I many ways. Cons: The only thing I didn't like about the product was the price, although it was very good quality I think the price was a bit much. if you use it in the water you might want was it after, as some dirt can get In the screws.

Decent mounting option
I have used this mount for the handle and also the extension. I've inserted cut up floating noodles around the extension arms so it can be used at the lake when my kids jump off the dock. The tension from the screws makes this very stable as an extended pole mount. I really like how this can be adjusted so the pole is out of the way for pictures/video. My complaint is the tripod. My unit is very unstable. Hopefully this is not the case on all units but I do not see how anyone can use this as a viable option for video.

Great for hikes
This works fabulously while on hikes. I was able to film us walking by because of the tripod feet. The fully extended length is comfortable to use. The compactness of it folded down and used in its smallest length is so easy and people barely see you carrying it. Im really glad I got this to be a part of my filming setup.

Premium feel and very comfortable.
I've mounted my GoPro 5 Session to this grip and never felt like taking it off. I carry this combo everywhere I go. Feels very comfortable and has a premium feel to it - very sturdy and solid. The selfie extension feels just as strong and durable. The tripod accessory is a great bonus and slides into the grip away from sight making it easy to carry around and much easier to manage.

Very versatile camera extender mount
Used this on a recent backpacking trip. This extender we dubbed the selfie stick was extremely useful. It can be configured into many different lengths and into a simple handle for the gorpro. The tripod came in handy in situations when we needed both hands and wanted to document our adventures. It is very light making it easy to carry.

Multi functional piece of equipment
I have a very small case for my gopro as when I use it I dont have room for a ton of gear. I like this 3 way because it is so versatile. I can use it as a selfie stick, tri pod, stabilizing arm etc. And it folds up very small. If they added the foam floating handle to this it would be the end all be all for my needs! If you get one you will be satisfied!

Great product
The GoPro 3-Way Grip/Extension/Tripod is a handy little product. Unfortunately it doesn't come with any instructions so it takes some time to familiarise yourself with its range of movement and features. The tripod legs are actually concealed within the handle which took me a while to work out. It folds to a compact size and is light weight making it easily transportable.

ALL in one
This a very compact but complete mount system. The tripod that fits inside the handle can be used to hold up the entire system (probably not good in wind) or can be used on its own as a small and steady tripod. The system can be broken down to just the basic handle if desired. Many configurations possible. Well built. To keep the weight down it is not heavy duty but with proper use it will hold up well I believe

This is a really useful go pro accessory. I now only bring this with me when I go out with my Gopro. It has a tripod built in so I can use it for time lapse shots. Its length is perfect when extended and can capture good shots. Also use it when snorkelling and have no problems at all. Really good material and durable. no problems since.

pretty handy product but over priced
Pretty useful, this product does more then a standard stick but will also cost you a pretty penny more too. I think its very overpriced for what it is (I had gift vouchers from work but wouldn't have spent so much of my own money on this little thing). The tripod legs are flimsy and unstable and take a bit of effort to balance the camera out. That said, the stick folds up into a nice compact size that fits easily into my bag so its easily reachable for quick camera ops whilst travelling.

A nice camera with lots of good features. I've only had it while, so I'm still working out best settings. Best advice is to see what experts say with regard to 'best' settings via YouTube.

screw came off after the first time using it and...
I was able to recover that, but lost another one few days later. Worst: the common gopro screw is not working. So the product does not work, I would not know where to get a replacement screw(to loose it after using 2 times again). Gopro common!! at this price such a design flaw.

GoPro 3 way grip stick
I gave this product 4 of 5 stars strictly on the price. I previously bought a knockoff product, that when the camera was attatched, there was no stability. I bought the original GoPro version and can see a noticeable difference. Stability and durability are great but the price tag is a bit steep. All in all I guess you get what you pay for...

I bought a pack of cheap non genuine accessories, but purchased this 3 way grip after reading the reviews and so glad I did. Didn't need to waste my money on all the other stuff, as this one does everything I need to do, all in the one accessory. Love the extension length and the tripod attachment. If you only buy one accessory for your gopro, this would be it!

Faulty, poor design and no customer service
I bought the 3-way GoPro mount while vacationing on Oahu. On the third dive the screw that connects the hand grip from the middle section fell in the water and was lost. The screw was either so tight the arm wouldn't move or so loose that it would come free. Anyway, numerous attempts to contact GoPro have been unsuccessful, their customer support is anything but supprotive. I'll keep trying to get a replcement screw from them, although I'm losing hope.

MARTIN's review of 3-Way Grip
Pros: Well, it's long and bends into all sorts of shapes. Cons: I think there's better or equally good sticks for less. The GoPro El Grande extension pole is just a straight stick and it doesn't have the tripod base, but it's $20 less. Look around.

This 3 way provides a lot of flexibility as to how you can use this pole and it is very easy to hide it so it doesn't show in a selfie style shooting.
